St Patrick’s minors travelled the short journey to Aldergrove for the return league fixture on Tuesday evening.Following on from their recent good form this was a match which they were confident of victory and set about their task with vigour from the throw in. The gulf in class was obvious in the opening 15 minutes as St Patrick’s romped to a 3-6 to 0-0 lead. Despite their best efforts the home team could not penetrate beyond the midfield duo of Kevin Parker and Michael Johnson who fed the forward line with numerous scoring opportunities. When the home side did manage to get ball into their most dangerous player , under 16 captain Mark Torbitt was on his best defensive form to stifle any chances being created. Best point of the half was scored by Thomas Burns who received a quick 45 kick whilst Aldergrove were organising on the edge of the square and strode forward unchallenged to convert from 35 yards. The half ended 3-9 to 0-2 in favour of the locals. The management team of Tomas Fay and Peter Burns used the half time advantage to give minor game experience to some of the under 16 squad. Skipper Mark Torbitt was joined by under 16 team-mates Stephen Marley ,Declan Dillon and Padraig McMahon in the line up. The second half continued in much the same vein as the first with the locals scoring freely and at will eventually running out 5-15 to 0-2 winners. Scorers on the night were: Declan Dillon 2-4; Paul Anderson 1-5; Josh McMullan 1-3; Patrick Agnew 1-0; with Thomas Burns, Michael Johnson and Kevin Parker contributing 0-1 each. Many good performances on a faultless night , however under 16 half-forward Declan Dillon gets the Man of the Match award for an all action show and doing the simple things well. With 2 matches left to play in their league programme the minors , against all pre-season expectations find themselves very much in the mix for the title. They must win their final games against Dunloy at Kirkwoods nest Tuesday and then beat St Endas away. However they will then be dependant on other results going in their favour. The minor squad ask for as many supporters as possible to cheer them on in their last home game of the season against Dunloy. смотреть секс видео
